Alright, so we're at 13 days people! :D I am so flippin' excited it's not even funny. This week has been the craziest yet as far as the emotional rollercoaster goes. First and foremost, my companion went home this week. Obviously there's not much detail I can share, but rest assured, it was an honorable release for medical reasons :) We are hopeful that he will be able to join us in Korea when he's ready! It was a bittersweet day. It was sad that he was leaving, but the entire senior transfer all gathered together and sang songs and gave hugs and took pictures. We spent a good hour at least just comforting Elder Smurthwaite and assuring him of our love. So what happens to me know? I have been reassigned to a tripanionship with the other two Elders in my room. Elder Hamilton and Elder Peck. They are both going to Busan, so we won't even travel together when we leave. These next two weeks will be very interesting having 2 brand new companions. I'm optimistic though!
Other news, one of the Sisters who plays volleyball during gym with us is a CODA. For those of you who don't know, CODA stands for Child Of a Deaf Adult. ASL is her first language!! I was so excited when I found out. We have been having conversations in ASL and I have enjoyed having that piece of my life again. I still love Korean, but I do miss ASL. That was really fun for me.
