What the... I've already been in Korea for 2 weeks? When did this happen? The time has just seemed to fly by. Life is pretty great as a missionary. The members in my area are awesome, and the Lord is blessing us like crazy. We have a lot of investigators here that are mainly interested in English, which is unfortunate because I really want to bless their lives with the gospel, but I'm hoping that we will be able to find some who are genuinely interested in our message. Even though I am in the boonies of Korea, it's still pretty crazy. I see people peeing in the middle of the road, people so absolutely drunk it's not even funny, tanks of live squid just chilling on the sidewalk, market with dog heads hanging on display etc. It's pretty crazy here. I love it though. Side note, Koreans are some of the absolute best dressed people I have ever seen in my life. There not into "fashion" per se, but they really know how to look sharp. I love it/ I am going to have to bring a 3rd and 4th suitcase home after I buy a bunch of clothes at the end of my mission! :)
I don't really know what else to talk about. I'm really glad to be here and it gets more and more natural being a missionary every day :) Also, I may have said this before, but learning Korean is hands down the hardest thing I have ever done in my life. That's all :) Have a great week everyone!
Love,
Elder Jakob Tyler Fund
