Sorry about last week everybody. We are just busy busy bee's down here in Yeosu. So much so, that it's really hard for me to even think of what I should talk about. So I will just go over the basics. In case I haven't mentioned before, I see the ocean almost every single day. It's gorgeous. In fact, there is a Korean pop song that came out that is just about how beautiful the Ocean is in Yeosu! So that's cool. We have met some pretty cool people down here. Right now we have 3 seperate investigators who all play guitar super well, another investigator who quit smoking cold turkey when we commited him to, and another investigator who is the husband of a 1 month recent convert from the Phillipines! (let me clarify that, the wife is from the phillipines, he is Korean). We ride buses everyday, and it's starting to get pretty chilly. The branch down here has about 70-80 people attend each week, so it's quite a bit bigger than Jecheon. Also, even though Yeosu is a small city, there are 8 missionaries serving here. 4 Elders and 4 Sisters, so I am living in a 4 man house with the other Elders. It's really interesting being in a 4 man house. In my first two areas, my companion and I were the only missionaries in the area, so this is quite the transition for me. I suppose I should mention that this is indeed a rare circumstance. There is only 1 other city in the mission that I can think of that has 4 elders and 4 sisters assigned to the same area, and that is in Daejeon City. This is pretty crazy having so many missionaries in the same place.
Anyway, we are trucking along everyday. We have a few baptismal dates and more with potential, but we just have to wait and see what happens. I have to hop off now, but I hope all of you have a good week! Talk to you later,
Elder Jakob Tyler Fund
