That's right. I made it to the coast. Even though it didn't really do much because the country is so small, I was super fortunate to be in the highest north area of our mission for the summer and the farthest south are for the winter :) Yeosu is super awesome. I haven't been able to see a whole lot of it yet, but from what I have seen, I like it. It is bigger than Jecheon, so I am still little by little making my way up the food chain. There is a weird dialect here. It doesn't make anything hard to understand, it's just funny sounding :)
My companion is a POWERHOUSE. Oh my gosh. I have never seen someone who works so hard. I'm excited for this transfer :)
So I had to say a lot of goodbyes in Jecheon and the night of my birthday, one of my members actually bought me a cookies and cream cheesecake :) It was really good! Then the next day we had district meeting and afterward took sticker pictures. Which is basically just a glorified photo booth that you can edit the pictures afterward and print them out with sticky backsides so you can put them on things. It's kind of a Korean teenage trend of sorts.
Then Tuesday night was my last English class. My English class in Jecheon were some of my favorite people here in Korea!! It was hard to say goodbye. They too bought me a cake and took us out for Korean Chinese food afterward.
Wednesday was full of packing and prepping to go, and I went to Yeongwol for the last time. Then Thursday was transfer day. I said goodbye to Elder Lee and then went to our mission home. My companion and I had a meeting we had to go to together on Friday, so instead us meeting down in Yeosu and then coming right back the next day, they just opted for me to be in a threesome in Daejeon for the day and then meet up with Elder Forbes on Friday. So that's what I did. I hung around with and Elder and his greenie and we taught street lessons for the night. Then the next day I met Elder Forbes, we had our meeting and then went down to Yeosu. Our house is a 4-man house, and it's... cozy. So yeah, I am going to have to get rid of a lot of stuff this transfer because I have nowhere to put everything :)
Saturday we did our weekly planning and then had a Halloween party at the church, so I got to meet a lot of the members there. The Yeosu members seem really cool. I am really excited about this area!
Yeah, sorry this post is pretty bare. I'm just giving the basics because my brain is on overload with all the new surroundings and people and what not :)
Have a good week everybody!
