Well, that was an interesting week...

Hey there! So I will just start off by warning you all, I am pretty sure the Korean plague is trying to work it's way back into my system. I was free for about 6 months, but it appears to be making a comeback. Also, another fun fact for you all, I saw the biggest spider I have ever seen in my life this morning. It was all black and the body itself, without adding the size of the legs, was about the size of a quarter. Guess where it was! In our kitchen sink...... yeah. Here's my advice for all you spider haters. Come to Korea and spend a week. You will LITERALLY see more spiders in one day than you had ever seen in your entire life added together. That is almost not an exaggeration. Spiders are everywhere and unless they are actually IN someones house, people just leave them alone and let them do their thing, which is making hundreds of babies. So yeah, if I had any touch of arachnaphobia before my mission, it is completely gone. If it wasn't, I would be dead right now. Anyway, despite the spiders, Korea is still beautiful.

This week, well this week we almost got back to our normal schedule. We got a call Saturday morning from our mission president asking our district to come have interviews, 2 hours away. So we dropped everything and went Guess what I had for lunch! Snail soup. Originally I ordered just a simple, spicy beef soup, but the people accidently messed up our oder and it would have taken too long for them to fix, so I just had to make do. It was... fine. Except the occasionaly crunch was a little offputting, and even though I know there weren't any, I swear I saw tiny eyeballs a couple of times in my soup... So yeah, the weird foods list just keeps on growing and growing!

Umm.. what else what else. Oh! We visited one of our American branch members this week. He is here teaching English and is living alone. We went to his apartment to visit him and all I have to say is, no American child should ever complain that their room is too small. His entire apartment was probably 2/3 the size of my old bedroom. bathroom and kitchen included. Yet he keeps it tidy and is happy as a clam. So to all my nieces and nephews out there, even those who have to share a room with one or more of your siblings, be grateful for what you have!

Okay, I'll step of my li'l soapbox now. This week was just pretty average as far as the work goes. We are trying to dig through old records and find the people that may have fallen through the cracks. We found a couple records with really good potential, but we haven't had any luck in finding them yet.

Hopefully I will have great stories to tell next week. Just so you all remember, I am delayed a week for conference, so I will not be able to watch it until a week from this Sunday, so yeah. Y'all are lucky that you get to see it so soon!

Have a great week!!
